Project Notes: A modern genetics twist on the classic sci-fi monster movie; scary but with plenty of humor. Will feature state of the art creature effects and makeup by the makeup team at Scarecrow Inc. Stunts will be co-ordinated by Ryan Gray, experienced stuntman from Spiderman 3. We are looking for actors who want to have some fun, but who are also willing to roll up their sleeves and help create highly interesting characters.

Gino is a brilliant, innovative geneticist who has left his Italian roots in New York to move to the West to work on a secret government genetic engineering project. When he decides to use his skills as a scientist to reconcile his tragic past he crosses the fine line of scientific ethics.
RACHEL - Starring / FEMALE / 25 TO 35
Gino's fiance. An attractive, sexy, network administrator at the genetic engineering company where Gino works. Rachel's biological clock is really ticking and she has made detailed plans for marriage and children, then she finds out that Gino may not be able to father her child.
FRANKIE - Starring / MALE / 25 TO 45
Helpful Skills - East Coast Italian accent
Frankie is Gino's distant cousin and best buddy. He's a bit of a slacker pot head but bright enough to hold down a job as a lab tech. Frankie is the only person Gino confides in when the creature is created.
HOFFMUELLER - Starring / MALE / 35 TO 55
Helpful Skills - Stage combat
A Defense Sciences Officer - a government spook (think Men in Black meets the Navy Seals). Hoffmueller is overseeing a classified genetic engineering project for the military, and will crush anyone who gets in his way.
JULIE - Supporting / FEMALE / 23 TO 32
Julie is an intelligent scientist with great respect for and a bit of a crush on Gino. She senses something wrong with her brilliant co-worker.
SHERIFF JOHNSON - Supporting / MALE / 40 TO 65
Helpful Skills - Slight Bakersfield/Oakie or Southern Accent
The smart, kindly, hometown Sheriff starts to wonder about the genetic engineering company that has moved into his little town.
DOBSON - Supporting / MALE / 40 TO 65 Like-able nerdy scientist boss at the genetic engineering company.
AUNT ROSIE - Supporting / FEMALE / 50 TO 75
Helpful Skills - East Coast Italian accent
Gino's blind Aunt. Aunt Rosie show's kindness to the creature that Gino has created. She also listens to Italian Opera and makes a mean batch of meatballs.
